'Joey' McLellan (Napoli/4)...real name Bob, Italian with a Scottish name and I support Napoli...I own a sandwich van in London so Paul calls me Joey after Joey Tribiani of 'Friends' who also likes sandwiches...and yes I am big...have played in most of the games but now settled into the Playboy game where I belong
Geoff 'Laser' Fields (ManCity/1)(Napoli/2)(Grimsby/3)(PortVale/4)...I'm a big ManCity fan, hence the nickname and I've been playing CF since the beta test and thoroughly enjoy it although it would be nice to win more often. Bogey side is Leeds in every game !!!
Tawny Athers (Sao Joao/1)...cuevo luendo...originally from Brazil where my brother plays for Flamengo
Graeme 'Stud' Mackenzie (Hibernian Game 4)...Early 30's, Hibs daft hellraiser who hails from a place near Stirling. Took the hellraising inspiration up after appearing in an Ollie Reed film, and Ollie remains a hero as does current captain of Hibs, Franck Sauzee. Travelling a big hobby, as meeting birds from abroad is unbeatable (Prague especially), compared with the birds here anyway. Met a few well-known chicks, most famous probably being Monica Lewinsky, although the main dream gal would be Neve Campbell. Big fan of CF, been in it around 10 years now...here's to the next 10 years!
Robert Swaby (AC Milan/1)...Late 20's. Single. Once a bit of a lad now much calmed down. CF in part to thanks (or to blame). Been playing Championship football for a good few years now and enjoy it immensely. Ability to retain useless info means my knowledge of useless football trivia is only rivalled by inability to remember simple things like to exhale after inhaling!!! Dream girls include Halle Berry, Kirsty Gallacher ("Studs" Mackenzie you lucky bugger!!) and Salma Hayek. Unpublished conquests include ex-Page 3 model Debbie Corrigan. Honest!!
Chris 'Goldy' Goldstone (Coventry/4)...Forty year old Playboy and Coventry fanatic for my sins, dated Samantha Fox before she became famous, which probably dates me a bit, got a bit famous ( 15 minutes ) cos of Sammie and as a result once bared my todger in Playgirl ( got paid a thousand smackers - not bad ). Been playing CF without too much success for quite awhile now cos its so damn addictive even without the winning.
Dominic 'Polly' Swallow (Celtic/3)...My most endearing feature is the cleft in my chin, which someone once offered to fill with polyfilla and the nickname stuck. Love Celtic, Gothic birds and computers in that order. Cant imagine not playing CF as it fills in all those boring times at work...Paul, when will the Phoenix rise again ?
Ian Cheshire (Liverpool/6)...I'm a Liverpool fan, so I'm happy to finally manage them in Game 6, but I've managed a few teams over the years. I started with QPR in game 3, and came 2nd three years on the trot. At the same time, I had Norwich in Game 4. I won everything with them for a couple of years on the trot. When Game 6 started, I picked up Middlesbrough, and took them to second in the first season. Then I switched to Juve, where I won the Italian league, and the following season I won the first European Super league. I gave them up to
have more of a challenge with Liverpool. Game 6 is the hardest of the games, because there are so many strong teams.

Epitaphs to ex-players...my fondest thanks for playing...

Rinaldo Salerno 001...first player to request a startup...never kicked a ball
Ian Hall 002 (Man United/1)...first paying customer to ever kick a ball in CF
Lee Harrison 008 (Leeds/1)...lived and breathed for Leeds United...rang everyday then suddenly dropped out...I hope you're okay wherever you are
Andy 'Juve' Millen 016 (Juventus/2)...won everything and sometimes comes back for a freebie...well on his way to having his own footie team in real life doesnt seem to know what birth control is
Kim Head 041 (Plymouth/1)...big Plymouth fan now edits a footie mag somewhere
Andy 'Lord Lucan' Boland 053 (Norwich/Arsenal/2)...took Norwich to a Champions Cup victory...then swapped to the Gunners and hardly ever sent in a turn...very mysterious...has now returned from the great beyond so can no longer be called Lord Lucan...But seems to have gone again ?
Mark England 063 (Newcastle/1)...won three titles on the trot...not repeated since
Colin Combes 064 (Sheffield Wednesday/1)...great customer...played at a small club without complaint and took them to better things than I expected...left to start a family
Chris Brayford 067 (Middlesbrough/1)...won everything with Boro in the early days
Richard McCurdy 074 (Liverpool/1)...took the reds down from the Premiership to the third division in just three seasons
Dean Birkett 083 (Sunderland/1)...big Sunderland fan and he played the game with great enthusiasm
Paul Taulbut 113 (Chelsea/2)...rescued Chelsea from oblivion before retiring into the sunset
Ryan Lucas 185 (Coventry/4)...had more teams than hot dinners but could never settle anywhere and subsequently never had any success...but did introduce all his mates who all had more success !
Richard Bartlett 405 (Westham/3)...a real gent who did very well with mediocre players...left to get married
Spyros Harbis 425 (Juventus/2)...greek shipping tycoon who plagued me with hour long phone calls to discuss the finer points of the game...left college and returned to greece...promised to return if I ever started an internet game !!!
Kristian Chippendale 435 (Liverpool/4)...did very well and was on the verge of winning the title when he was kidnapped by aliens
Michael O'Neill 454 (Norwich/5)...introduced all his mates and all round top man, won everything with the canaries
Richard Currid 471 (Real Madrid/2)...the only manager to ever win anything with Real Madrid
Davide Magri 482 (Wolves/4)...took them from last to first and made them a top Premiership side

Managers who hold some sort of record in CF...

Yogi...biggest cheque
Laser...most clubs on the go at once
Laser...most orders returned for processing
Dave Francis...most paper in a turn
...most questions
Michael O'Neill and Scott Upton...most friends introduced to the game...
Yogi...most orders rang in
Spyros...longest phone call
Gary Drain...latest phone call...thought I was an answering machine...hilarious
Gary Drain...most hilarious phone call
Alan 'Motty' Mottram...oldest player...just started drawing his pension so he says !
Alan 'Motty' Mottram...most knowledgable player...wot he dont know aint worth knowing from across six decades
Mustapha Pyshz...funniest name...sorry Mustapha I still dont believe you...it just dont sound right when you say it
Graeme 'Stud' Mackenzie...most notorious bird puller who's published conquests include Joe Guest, Crystal and Kirsty Gallacher
Steve 'Shaft' Mutch...first manager to play who was also on the database ( use to play for Queens Park in real life)
Sean Denton, Yogi, Peter Hinckes, Richard Bartlett, Ian Cheshire and Andy Le Butt...caught me having dinner ! more times than any other managers...in fact it became a bit of a competition to see if they could catch me away from the phone when they rang...nice one lads...those were the days
Sean Denton...the biggest moaner in the game, I cant remember ever having a conversation with Sean in which he hasn't moaned about something ( only joking mate ! ), usually to do with his lack of cash at his Leeds side in the Thinkers Game.
Sean Denton...biggest wage bill by far at any club anywhere in the game.
Josie Corrigan...the only manager who hasnt known what offside is, nice one Jos.

Profiles entered by mates !!!

Andy Irwin (Liverpool/1)...tightest player on the planet, use to open the fridge door to warm up his flat and never rings you, you always have to ring him and he's always the last one to buy a round, although he does eventually cough up.
Stevie Mutch (Queens Park/4)...Ex-footballer who had to retire due to dodgy knees...when watching him play, thought he'd retired long ago due to his slowness. Reminds me a bit of Albert Steptoe, without his good looks. Big fan of Aerosmith and N'Sync...bizarre. Likes wearing long black coats, thus the 'Shaft' nickname...not for the other reason. Though he does use 'Shaft's' cringing chat-up lines...(unsuccessfully).
Dave "The Moose" Francis (Berlin /1)
Visualise the large blue fella in Monsters inc and you almost get the picture. He's a diamond geezer, Millwall to the core, and renown for his exploits when single-handedly taking on the Soul Crewe at Cardiff station a few years back... or did they all take him on, we're not sure, but he has been cut open more times than a surgeons dummy!!!
He has finally found his PBM niche at Hertha, now home of the future entire Russian Army... especially if he keeps signing young Russians at the rate he is. He knows a player when he sees one, but they run off if they see his 25 stone frame coming first!!! A normal match day for Dave consists of consuming 15 pints of lager before kick-off, watch the match, rush home, get changed, back out to consume a further 15 - 20 pints of lager topped with vodka... hence the 15 stone!!!
He is a PS2 pervert, and any player in LMA Manager that helps his LMA team gain promotion, will undoubtedly be bought for Berlin in Championship Football at some stage. If you do ever give him a call, be well prepared... he can talk for England, has more stories to tell than Hans Christian Andersen... and they're always a lot more entertaining too!!! One last word on him... Spare a thought for his poor fellow residents, who have to use the lifts in the flats where he lives... most Sunday mornings he can be found asleep in them, unable to quite navigate the entire way home after his drinking exploits... a sight to behold... NOT!!!
